Terms of Service

Homefield is operated by SWNW Signals LLC, an Oregon limited liability company ("Homefield," "we," "us"). These Terms govern your use of the Homefield website, your league's generated site, and your league's Telegram bot. By using Homefield, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Homefield is

Homefield turns a Sleeper fantasy football league into a live website and gives it its own governance tools — proposals and voting run through a Telegram bot unique to your league — plus optional AI features like weekly recaps. Homefield is fan-made and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sleeper, the NFL, or Telegram Messenger Inc. All three are used under their own respective terms, and this service depends on their APIs remaining available to us.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. If you're using Homefield on behalf of a league, you're confirming you have the authority to connect that league's data and set up its bot.

3. Accounts and your league's bot

You sign in through our authentication provider. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Each league's Telegram bot is created and named by that league's own commissioner through Telegram's BotFather — it is not a Homefield-branded or Homefield-controlled bot, and you're responsible for how it's used in your group once connected.

4. Proposals, voting, and governance

Homefield facilitates proposals and tallies votes cast in your Telegram group or on your site. That's all it does. Homefield does not enforce league rules, adjudicate disputes, or guarantee that a vote's outcome is honored by league members. Anything "on the record" on your site is a record of what your league decided to do with this tool — not a legally binding contract or arbitration, and not something Homefield is a party to.

5. Dues tracking

Homefield's dues feature is self-reported only. We do not collect, hold, transmit, process, or have any access to money of any kind, and we are not a payment processor, escrow agent, or money transmitter. When a manager or commissioner marks dues as "paid," that reflects their own statement, not a verified transaction we witnessed. Any dispute about whether money actually changed hands is between league members — Homefield has no visibility into it and no liability for it.

6. Fantasy sports and money in your league

Homefield does not run, host, or take a position on any wagering, buy-in, or prize pool your league may choose to run among yourselves — that's a matter of your own league's arrangement and Sleeper's terms, not something Homefield operates or is a party to. You're responsible for making sure anything your league does with money complies with the law in your jurisdiction.

7. AI-generated content

Recaps, power rankings, predictions, hype, trash talk, and rivalry write-ups are generated by third-party AI models. They can be inaccurate, off-base, or just not funny, and are provided for entertainment only — don't rely on them for anything that matters. You're responsible for how content generated through your league's bot is used or shared. We may change, limit, or discontinue any AI feature at any time.

8. Fees and credits

Hosting your site and using core governance features is free. AI features run on a credit balance, funded by a starter grant, a bundled allotment from a paid plan, or a direct purchase, as described in-app. A processing fee applies to purchased credits, disclosed at the time of purchase. Purchased credits are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Paid plans, if any, renew automatically until canceled.

9. Acceptable use

• No unlawful use, harassment, or content that goes beyond fantasy-football trash talk into real targeting of a person or protected class.
• No attempting to abuse, circumvent, or exploit the AI credit system.
• No scraping, reverse-engineering, or interfering with the service's normal operation.
• No impersonating another person or league.

10. Third-party services

Homefield depends on Sleeper's public API, the Telegram Bot API, and infrastructure providers for authentication, hosting, and AI generation. We don't control and aren't responsible for their availability, accuracy, or content.

11. Export and termination

You can stop using Homefield at any time. Depending on your plan, you may export your league site's configuration. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

Homefield is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including uptime, accuracy of Sleeper or AI-generated data, or fitness for a particular purpose.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SWNW Signals LLC's total liability for any claim relating to Homefield is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including disputes over unpaid dues, league decisions, or AI-generated content.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Homefield after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
